It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of commitment that I welcome you to the official website of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), a community that represents unity, progress, and the true spirit of grassroots governance in Lagos State.
This platform has been created to strengthen the connection between the government and the people. It serves as your window to ongoing projects, developmental programmes, public announcements, and opportunities within our LCDA.

About Onigbongbo
In October 2003, under the administration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, then governor of Lagos state, a bill by the Lagos State House of Assembly created 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) from the original 20 Local Government Areas to foster grassroots development in Lagos. In Ikeja LGA, two LCDAs were created alongside the LGA, and one of them is Onigbongbo LCDA. Based on land survey statistics the whole of Ikeja LGA from which the two LCDA was carved out sits on 43sq.km of land, hence Onigbongbo LCDA sits on approximately 14.33sq.km of land, and a growing population demographics of around
